1998
Navitec was founded
Navitec started with natural feature navigation in the mining industry in 1998, and quickly became the market leader. Huge mining trucks were automated by us already 25 years ago, and are still driving autonomously with our navigation.
2004
The first system delivered
The first natural feature navigation systems were delivered to Chile and Republic of South Africa for mining.
2008
Nuclear depository automated
We provided automation for the Nuclear Waste AGV with Natural Feature Navigation for the Swedish national nuclear depository.
2013
Finnish engineering award
Received the Finnish engineering award.
2015
AGV system successfully delivered
Navitec entered intralogistics market and designed a complete software solution for material-handling AGV systems.
2020
Deloitte Award
Received the “Technology Fast 50” award by Deloitte, listed on the top 50 fastest growing companies in Finland.
2021
New office in Germany
The company expanded and opened a new office in Germany to meet customer demands.
